Community Growth Assistant ("Community Growth Assistant", "we", "us", or "our") provides a software platform and related tools designed to help creators, businesses, and community managers grow and manage online communities.

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through our public website, account and customer portal, Chrome browser extension, and other services that reference this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the service, we may collect:

• Account information: first name, last name, and email address.
• Authentication information: securely processed account credentials and information required to authenticate your account.
• Subscription and license information: information associated with plans, subscriptions, licenses, and account status.

Chrome Extension and Facebook-Related Information

Our Chrome extension helps Facebook Page administrators manage invitations, save posts, and review activity. When you use the extension, it processes information needed to deliver those features.

• Facebook account identifier: The extension identifies the active Facebook account and sends its identifier to our servers for license activation, validation, and invitation usage tracking.
• License and device information: License activation sends a license key, installation-specific device identifier, Facebook account identifier, and browser and extension information. License validation sends a device authorization token, device identifier, and Facebook account identifier.
• Confirmed invitation activity: When the user starts automatic invitation processing, the extension interacts with Facebook's website. It reports confirmed invitation counts, together with device authorization information and the Facebook account identifier, to our servers to enforce plan limits and track usage.
• Saved posts: When you save a Facebook post using the extension, its preview, link, reaction count, and save time may be stored in Chrome's local extension storage. The reviewed saved-post feature keeps up to 200 saved posts locally; this feature does not send saved-post records to our servers.
• Local extension storage: The extension stores settings, saved posts, device identifiers, and license authorization information locally in your Chrome profile.

We use this information to provide requested features, verify licenses, enforce subscription limits, maintain invitation usage records, and protect the service. Extension communications with our servers use HTTPS.

Facebook is operated by Meta and is subject to Meta's own privacy practices. Community Growth Assistant is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta or Facebook.

Removing the extension ordinarily removes its locally stored extension data from that Chrome profile, but does not automatically erase records already sent to our servers. To request access to or deletion of eligible server-side personal information, email support@communitygrowthassistant.com. Some records may need to be retained for billing, security, disputes, or legal obligations.

3. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

• create and maintain your account;
• authenticate users and protect account security;
• provide Community Growth Assistant features and services;
• manage subscriptions, plans, and licenses;
• respond to support requests;
• send service-related communications, including password-reset emails;
• detect, prevent, and address security or technical issues;
• maintain and improve the service; and
• comply with applicable legal obligations.

4. Passwords and Account Security

Account passwords are processed and stored using password hashing rather than plain-text passwords. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect account information, but no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

5. Payments and Third-Party Services

If you purchase a paid plan, payment processing may be handled by a third-party payment provider. Payment information may be processed directly by that provider according to its own privacy policy and terms.

We do not intend to store complete payment-card credentials on our application servers when payment processing is handled by an external payment provider.

6. Email Communications

We may use email for transactional communications such as password-reset links, account-related messages, subscription notices, and responses to support requests.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website and application may use cookies, sessions, or similar technologies where necessary for authentication, security, preferences, and reliable operation. Any optional analytics or third-party tracking introduced later should be reflected in an updated version of this policy.

8. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate the service, such as hosting, infrastructure, email delivery, payment processing, security, or other essential technical services.
